The people of the Tunis’s old Medina would use this swing mirror, accented with gold-plated silver, choklayba. It was used by Bey princesses during Ottoman rule for applying makeup and dressing their hair. Decorated with leaf patterns as part of a traditional filigree process that takes six months to complete.
