Who makes the silver jewelry sold at BarkaStore?

 

70 percent of our silver jewelry is made in the Bouzid family workshop by our in-house artisans. The rest along with our home décor items is produced by our network of partner artisans from around the country.

Our partner artisans run their own businesses in various neighborhoods of the Tunis medina, including Souk El Berka, Beb Jdid, and Beb Bnet. All of our partners have been collaborating with us for more than 10 years.

Where is BarkaStore?

 

Our storefront and workshop are located in the Tunis suburb of Ariana, 10 minutes by car from Tunis-Carthage International Airport and 30 minutes from Berka, the historic gold and silver souk in the Tunis medina.

How can I pay?

We currently accept a range of credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners, JCB, and debit cards with the Visa and MasterCard logo. 

We also accept Paypal.

If you are living in Tunisia you can pay at delivery or by bank transfer. Please don't hesitate to reach out to help@barkastore.com if you find any difficulties at checkout.

Will my personal information be kept safe during payment?

Absolutely. We use industry-leading encryption standards, ensures that your information is safe with us and not accessible to any third party. On your end, the most important is to protect your password. For more information, check out our privacy policy.

What fees am I responsible for? 

Orders shipped outside Tunisia may be subject to VAT and/or import taxes, in the country of delivery. You may also be charged an administrative fee by the shipping company. Please note you will be responsible for any taxes or duties your country collects on imported goods. Shipping costs, however, will be added to your order. How can I purchase a gift card?

 

We don’t currently offer a gift cards, but we hope to in the near future.

How can I know when new items are available?

Our merchandising team is always working hard to share with you new handmade goods from our expert artisans. Please sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on all of our products.
