These earrings bring together two traditional coastal symbols from opposite ends of Tunisia. The fragrant ambergris fish pays homage to an ancient Tunisian symbol of fertility that still features in the wedding rituals of the port-city of Sfax, while the coral beads are made from materials gathered from the coast of the Northwest border-town of Tabarka.
