Story:

The people of the Tunis’s old Medina would use this swing mirror, accented with gold-plated silver, choklayba. It was used by Bey princesses during Ottoman rule for applying makeup and dressing their hair. Decorated with birds and trees, the silver frame has been plated with gold as part of a traditional Tunisian process that takes six months to complete.
