This silver bookmark comes in the shape of a fish, an ancient Tunisian symbol of fertility. It has been decorated using the age-old engraving technique, namli, first brought to Tunisia by Jewish master silversmith Moshi Ennamni. The fish’s tail opens into a floral pattern typical of traditional Muslim art, the piece ends with a silver tassel.
